CDChoices Helps People with Disabilities Gain Independence

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Anna Parks, CDChoices consumer, shared with CBS6 News how hiring her own personal assistant through CDChoices has helped her gain control of her life back. “It makes me feel independent again because when I was first diagnosed with low blood pressure, it really took a toll on me,” Parks said. “Now, because of my personal assistant, I’m able to get back into college and hopefully become a business owner.”
