Saturday, December 3, 2022 marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Spectrum News featured Melissa Groves, Compliance Manager, to discuss how a person can take control of their own care, the benefits of home care workers, how to get access to one, and more. International Day of Persons with Disabilities was created by the United Nations in 2019 as a way to promote disability inclusion at all levels. It’s also a day for those with disabilities to feel empowered about their choices, especially when it comes to home care.
