Christopher Graber Of Consumer Directed Choices On Five Things We Must Do to Improve the U.S. Healthcare System

Jake Frankel of Authority Magazine interviewed Chris Graber, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CDChoices, in an interview series called “5 Things We Must Do To Improve the U.S. Healthcare System.” Chris spoke about his journey with CDChoices, joining in 2006 as a bookkeeper, working his way up to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2011, and CEO in 2020. As a “healthcare insider,” Chris shares five changes that need to be made to improve the overall U.S. healthcare system and what concrete steps would have to be taken to manifest these changes. He shares his experience as a CEO amid the COVID-19 pandemic, examples of where the U.S. healthcare system has struggled, and how to correct these issues moving forward. For Chris, this work is deeply personal: His experience with home care during his young adult years has imbued his day-to-day work with a deep commitment to CDChoices’ core mission that drives him forward.
