CDChoices is delighted to announce former Program Team Lead Kristina Hunter’s well-deserved promotion to Director of Programs! Since joining us in October 2022, Kristina has consistently proven herself a dynamic change agent, embracing innovative technologies to streamline processes and ensure top-notch service delivery for our consumers, and personal assistants.
Her ability to dive deep into programmatic procedures while maintaining a strategic perspective has been a critical factor in her success. Kristina’s unique approach has yielded tangible results. Under her leadership, the days from referral to orientation decreased from eighteen (18) to six (6) between September 2022 and July 2023. Moreover, she consistently ensured that over 50% of orientations were completed in the same month as receiving the referral, a significant improvement compared to the previous rate of 25%.
One of Kristina’s other successful initiatives was redesigning the authorization request process. Collaborating closely with the Finance Department, she established shared methodologies for data management and effective communication, resulting in a significantly streamlined authorization process that better serves consumer needs and prevents delays in care.
What truly sets Kristina apart is her mindfulness, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to enhancing herself and her fellow colleagues and the services we provide to our valued consumers. Grounded and open to innovation, she continuously seeks learning opportunities to improve processes, save time, and foster ongoing development. Above all, her focus remains on empowering her staff with the resources they need to achieve their goals, exceed expectations, and perform at their best.
