CDChoices consumer Lori Rappleyea interviewed by Spectrum News

Earlier this week, Spectrum News published the article Local caregiver grateful for nonprofit instituting raises.

Lori Rappleyea, CDChoices consumer and board member, shared how she utilized the pay wage increase CDChoices instituted earlier this year with her personal assistant, Barbara Fredericks.

For Consumers enrolled in specific plans, the pay rate is now $15.00 per hour, including the ability to save and issue on-demand bonuses. 

Personal assistant Barbara says, “It was an absolute blessing because with the prices of everything going up, it was really, really difficult to even make it to work.”
