Competitive Pay for Personal Assistants
At CDChoices, we empower consumers to set their pay rate based on a range set for each Managed Care Organization (MCO) or local Department of Social Services (LDSS) office. The Consumer Directed Personal Assistant Program (CDPAP) pay rate is up to $17.55 per hour ($26.33 per hour for overtime) in NYS (excluding Westchester, NYC and Long Island). The CDPAP pay rate is up to $20.22 per hour ($30.33 per hour for overtime) in Westchester, Suffolk and Nassau Counties. Additionally, the CDPAP pay rate is up to $21.09 per hour ($31.64 per hour for overtime) in New York, Kings, Bronx, Richmond and Queens Counties.
CDChoices gives consumers the opportunity to offer their caregivers year-end bonuses and, for a limited time only, sign-on bonuses of up to $500 depending on the number of hours worked.
