Our Workforce Recruitment Portal

Are you a consumer that’s looking for a fiscal intermediary without a specific caregiver in mind to hire as your own personal assistant? Our workforce recruitment portal enables you to have complete control over recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and terminating personal assistants.

Resources

We have many tools and resources available to help you succeed as an employer.

Peer Mentor

Peer Mentor services give you advice, support, and encouragement to help you succeed. You can interact with other New York consumers who have experienced success with their programs and have overcome challenges you might face. It can also be a valuable learning resource to help you get the most out of your consumer experience.

Payroll and Admin Services

As your fiscal intermediary, CDChoices can oversee your consumer program’s financial and administrative aspects. You can spend less time with paperwork and online forms with complete confidence that your necessary documentation will be fully prepared for you and that your employees will be compensated in a timely manner.

Paid Annual Health Assessments

To continue their employment, personal assistants must participate in annual health assessments. We will help you find a medical provider in your local area that can perform these assessments as well as furnish the costs to have them completed.

Paid Caregiver Training

Training is foundational to ensuring you receive the proper care when you begin your consumer-directed program. Your personal assistant can receive compensation for their time spent training for their new role with a fiscal intermediary’s partnership.

CDChoices is a fiduciary nonprofit organization committed to assisting New York consumers in managing the financial and administrative obligations of their state Medicaid-funded healthcare programs. These include but are not limited to the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) and the Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP).
